How to measure your pipe
Measure the outside diameter of the pipe or spigot the hose pushes onto, using a ruler or callipers. Choose the hose whose inside diameter (ID) matches that measurement.
Between sizes? Go for the smaller one. Silicone stretches a little to grip, but it can't be clamped down onto a pipe that is too small.

- 📏 6MM (1/4") BORE, 1M LENGTH – 6mm internal diameter, 14mm outside diameter and 4mm wall, supplied as one continuous 1 metre length (3.3ft, approx. 0.16 kg), ideal for a short repair or a single bypass line.
- 🔧 SILICONE HEATER AND RADIATOR HOSE – for cars, vans, motorbikes, classics and kit cars. The 6mm bore suits heater bypass, overflow, breather, vacuum and small coolant bleed lines.
- 🛡️ 2-PLY POLYESTER REINFORCED – smooth extruded silicone inner, 2-ply polyester braid and a silicone outer layer, made to SAE J20 R3. Resists ozone, ageing, cracking and coolant additives far longer than rubber. Trim with a sharp blade for a square, leak-free end.
- 🌡️ -30°C TO +200°C RATED – continuous operating range -30°C to +200°C with peaks to +220°C. This 6mm bore is rated 8 bar working and 24 bar burst pressure, with a 70mm minimum bend radius.
- ⚫ BLACK SILICONE – black finish that keeps its colour under bonnet heat. For coolant, water and air only – not suitable for fuel or oil. Use hose clips sized for the 14mm outside diameter.

A flexible, heat-resistant 2-ply silicone hose for coolant and heating systems in cars, vans, motorbikes, marine engines, agricultural equipment and industrial machinery. A smooth extruded silicone inner, 2-ply polyester braid and durable silicone outer give reliable thermal stability, pressure resistance and a long service life.
